Audition Call for Twelve Angry Jurors

Auditions-AUDITIONS-Auditions-AUDITIONS!
for
The Dundas County Players production of
Twelve Angry Jurors (an adaptation of Twelve Angry Men)
Written by Reginald Rose and directed by Tony Glen

This is a gripping and revealing classic of the stage and screen. Twelve jurors are sequestered to a jury room to do their civic duty and decide on the verdict on a seemingly open-and-shut capital murder trial. The story examines the twelve people’s deep-seated personal prejudices, perceptual biases and weaknesses, indifference, anger, personalities, unreliable judgments, cultural differences, ignorance and fears, that threaten to taint their decision-making abilities. The pace is intense and the outcome is thought-provoking.
Needed is a diverse ensemble cast of twelve adults: men, women, old and young.
Also being sought is a production crew (stage, set, tech, etc).

Casting: before the end of June.
Rehearsals begin in the second week of September.
Production dates: November 13 – 22, 2015.
