The Dundas County Players Amateur Theatre Society is seeking actors and crew for its two fall productions.
Both are humorous and cleverly written mysteries by Canadian playwrights.
The Reluctant Resurrection of Sherlock Holmes, by David Belke
Directed by Tony Glen
When Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is called upon to solve a mysterious murder he is convinced that it is the result of the paranormal. However, it soon becomes apparent that he is the one who is possessed, and not by any ordinary ghost, but by his own literary creation, Sherlock Holmes. The twists and turns of this clever play will leave you haunted by one of the most enduring characters of all time.

Murder by the Book, by Mat Kelly
Directed by JP Leduc
What happens when five eccentric murder mystery writers set out to solve a real life murder which has taken place right beneath their nose? Their imaginative speculation is only matched by the clever plot of local playwright, Mat Kelly, who shows us that truth can be sometimes stranger than fiction, and a whole lot more amusing!
